About Dr. Vanessa Thai

Dr. Vanessa Thai is an Australian-qualified optometrist who has practiced in both Australia and Hong Kong. Now part of the Child Development Team at Central Health at Southside, Dr. Thai has experience working in both the private and public sectors in addition to providing clinical teaching at the Australian College of Optometry and the Hong Kong Polytechnic University.

She has special training and certification in ocular therapeutics and paediatric management and treatment.

Dr. Thai has a strong interest in children’s vision and development. She enjoys working with people of all ages and finds enormous satisfaction when vision improvement is found.
